The problem we solve

When your family does not have a bank account, the apps stop working.

Most digital remittance services route everything through bank deposit. That leaves 15 to 20% of receivers in India, the Philippines and the UAE corridors without a real option, and pushes urgent senders to expensive retail counters.

1

Card funding refused

Wise blocks credit cards on most cross-border sends. Remitly accepts them with a fee penalty. Western Union charges retail rates.

2

No bank, no money

Bank deposit fails when the recipient has no account. Cash pickup means a 30 km trip. Family pays the cost of the gap.

3

Urgent is the silent case

Medical bills, school fees, family emergencies. Nobody built for the moment when payday is Friday and the bill is today.

How it works

Three steps. Under five minutes.

Card on file. Recipient mobile. Prepaid Visa code sent to their phone. They use it the same way they would use any Visa, anywhere it is accepted.

01

Set up your send

Add the recipient's mobile number and the amount. Pick standard (2.5%) or urgent (4.5%). Pay with the card already in your wallet.

02

We move the money

We pre-fund the corridor so your recipient does not wait on bank settlement. The card is charged on send; the recipient is paid on send.

03

They receive — instantly

Recipient gets a prepaid Visa code by SMS or WhatsApp. Usable at any retailer, ATM, or for online bills. Bank deposit and cash pickup also available.

Pricing

Two tiers. Same price both sides. No hidden FX.

We charge once, we charge it visibly, and we set the exchange rate to mid-market plus a thin margin we publish on this page. No surprise on either end.

2.5% all-in

For recurring family-support transfers where speed is not the primary need.

  • Card, debit or bank funding
  • Bank or prepaid Visa payout

Live corridors

Three corridors. Built deep before we widen.

We start where the under-banked recipient problem is largest and where we can run a tight prepaid Visa operation. We expand only when each corridor's unit economics are proven.

FAQ

Questions our customers actually ask.

Cleaner answers than the ones on our old site.

Why is iPayMate not the cheapest?

Because card funding plus prepaid Visa payout costs more than bank-to-bank. We charge for that, transparently, and we tell you why. If you want the cheapest digital corridor and your recipient has a bank account, Wise will beat us. If your recipient needs the money in the next five minutes and does not bank, we will.

How do you handle exchange rates?

Mid-market exchange rate plus a published margin. The margin is the same for every corridor, set quarterly, and shown on this page. No surprise spread on top of the fee.

What if my recipient does not have a bank account?

They get a prepaid Visa they can use at any merchant, ATM or online bill payment service. Or they can pick up cash at a partner location. We do not need them to bank with anyone.

Is iPayMate regulated?

Yes. We are registered with FINTRAC as a Money Services Business under Canadian law and operate against the AML and reporting standards required by the PCMLTFA, including the March 2026 amendments.

How fast does urgent really mean?

Under five minutes from send to recipient confirmation in 9 out of 10 cases in our target corridors. We post the median monthly on this page.

Can I send with cash or bank instead of a card?

Yes. Standard tier supports bank and debit. Urgent tier is card only, because the speed depends on card authorisation at the front end.
